I suppose in a way that this is more a critique of the three photographs of the series posted but I choose this one as it has (to me) the highest impact.

The lighting is perfect for his type of shot being off set to the right of the model, this gives the lovely shadows across the body and although you can tell it's not one point of light still works perfectly. The shot is proportioned and framed well.

The model has taken a really good pose for this and has achieved a good look of anguish to portray the story line. Really beautiful work.

Couple of downsides. White candles? (and these added a great touch to the photograph). This is where a little foresight would have helped. Black candles but use some bright red wax on them to make them look like they are bleeding. And lastly, the one thing that I think would make this a total 5 out of 5, we need mascaras running down your face to impact the loss.

All that said, this would make a wonderful framed print that I would happily hang in my house.
