CNA is a term first used by Simon Furman in Spotlight: Arcee.
The Injecticon term was created by Chris Fraynes to represent an evolutionary stage that came before the Insecticons.
In SoD, though, the concept was reversed: "Injecticon" stands now for an Insecticon who acquired a vehicular mode.
The final battle between Bombshell and Venom took place in the currently unpublished Insecticon/Injecticon story.
