Leo reared at the men keeping Raph behind him. His brother was just bearly hanging onto life. Just then a two ringed rope fell over his neck and tightened.. "No!" Leo screetched....
"What about the red one?" Cash asked his brother, Jim.
"No. He looks like he will be lucky to survive the night." Jim answered "Now lets go.."
Leo yelled in horror and tryed to pull himself back to Raph...
Raph lifted his head and met his brother's frantic eyes "Just.. go... I will... be fine... You know... me... Im to... hotheaded... to.. give... in..." He gasped..
Leo let out a low nickering sob "But I Promised to would not leave you!!!"
Raph chuckled half heartedly "You... Always... Stick... to... what... you... promise.... But this time.. Im asking.. you to.. break the.. promise.. and... just... go... Please.."
Leo intook a deep breath and pulled himself so he could nuzzle Raph before he allowed himself to be took away...

And for why they are horses, you can thank shred-head for that :l He captured the tmnt brothers and changed them all into horses
