Thanks go to SimplethingStock both for the reference and the simple stock rules
Roughed it out in the freebie app Mypaint... very simple and pretty awesome for free
Worked on it further with pixarra twisted brush 19
Then took it to corel painter 12
Then I took it to Gimp tweaked for painting
Next photoshop CS6 which I finally own to do final touches
All using my trusty Wacom Tablet
I could have most likey done the whole painting in any one of the applications to a satisfying result, but for whatever reason I like to switch it up while painting.
