I love how the only eyes you can see in this picture are the bride's.This was taken at the first wedding at which I was a photographer. I was the 2nd photographer, so i wasn't posing the people. I took this in between shots in which she was staring at the main photographer (to the left of me.) I got lucky on this and caught the timing of her looking up to her left.
A little tweaking in RAW and Curves, but no crop - this is how it came out. Border added.

I'd say you got the better of the two shots here!! Yours is so much more fun and natural than a bride with flowers floating around her face.
