Description
This is the third JWildfire tutorial. It is very brief and explains how to create mindblowing fractals by using flames (you created before) as variations. The tutorial itself is provided as pdf file. You can download it using the button on the right.
Have fun
EDIT: added some notes regarding moving/scaling/rotating sub flames
Here are some examples I created using this technique:

Should work fine on almost any modern computer (but need more ressources the higher your desired resolution is).Β How much Ram do you have?Β

Then you should have no problems except which huge renders for print, but this is rather a job for decent hardware

Hi there, I came upon JWildfire yesterday and I'm without words. This app ROCKS!!!!!. I've played around with it yesterday and it must easier as Apophisys (more nice flames as well). Now this morning I hit a snag. I started "new from scratch" add a transf. change nonlinear to pre_subflame_wf, but got no flame preview. What do I do wrong. PLEASE HELP.
Thanks again for this amazing app.

Hello Sarel,
thanks for the kind feedback!
I just tried what you described and could not see a problem, maybe you had a gradient which caused the interesting parts of the flame to be in black? If you face a problem at a certain flame again, feel free to note me the parameters.
Best regards,
Andreas

Hey, great! I didn't realize I could access these here as well as your JWildfire site.

Thank you
The options regarding rendering are - if you are new to the programm - currently a little bit hidden. They are found in the Window->Preferences menu.
Have fun

The time will come And there is not that much to learn this time, it's just fun to drag whole flames around
