6/11/2022 - 6/14/2022, first character concept came around April 2021.

"Why are all of your original characters goofy sad boys who cover their faces?"

Don't worry about it; more will come who don't fit that bill. It's just that I... clearly have a type.

I'm happy with this one because it makes good use of patterns, but I think I traded that visual interest for a bit of design clutter. If I redraw him, it'll do wonders to clarify that. The silhouette and posing could also use some work.

This is Aphelios! He's another character for an original RP setting, although not the same one as Talos. When the God of Death rose from his grave to silence this world and the beyond, this boyo here was saved by an enigmatic being known as the Morning Star. It, along with the last surviving deities, managed to form and hide a small bastion of life among the pieces of shattered worlds. Aphelios helped keep his fellow survivors together in the face of such upheaval. However, after being captured and forced to use the magic of the Morning Star, Aphelios grew to a different view of his god. One thing led to another, he switched his cleric patron, became homies with that aforementioned very nasty death god, regretted his poor choices, was defeated by former friends, and then remade into a budget grim reaper. Quite a handful, this one.

But! That tragic future has yet to harm our homie in this form. Right then, he was chilling with his buddies and taking long, scenic walks on the beach with his favorite parrot.

The story is one I cobbled together with some friends, so there might be more art for it here at some point. I think I actually have one of a certain sun god in the works.
