Description
I caught Piro doing the cutest photo today. I'm not really good with animal shots, but I thought it was cute. This image was merely edited to remove some dust spots. That is Piro's natural eye color... Today she is about 9 months old. D'aww she's the youngest of my four puppies!Model: One of my sweeties Piro.
Place: My home.

I have to say reading the long argue of these two artists of this foto was more interesting than the picture. My first reaction to this picture was positive and I thought it was nice using so bright colors, but when I noticed your own artist comments I quickly found out that this is just a stolen peace or edited one.
It makes me sad that you claimed it as your own and even told false things. There is so much people who trust artists like you who are just artthieves or liars.
I still think the picture is nice, but you only approved your not a artist worth to aknowledge.
I'm sorry for saying things like this, but I wish you would read this and understand the point. Don't take the path of a liar, because it doesn't end up in anything good. I know it too well..

....what the hell...
1. There is no way in living hell that dog is 9 months old. I've worked with animals my whole life, especially dogs, so don't try to tell me otherwise. That puppy is 10 weeks at the most.
2. Those eyes are VERY clearly photoshopped. You can even see the mistakes. That's not even a color found in nature dumb ass. No creature has eyes that blue. This particular breed/breed mix has light gray/light blue eyes.
3. Also this is NOT YOUR PHOTOGRAPH. If you wanna edit pictures of dogs so much use stock photographs and give PROPER CREDIT.
If you hide my comment, not only will I see to it that this picture is removed, I'll have your whole account deleted. You are clearly an art thief.
People need to know what a liar you are.
Stop getting popular off someones elses photographs and you crappy ass editing skills.
Loser.

Just so you know, if I could I would report you for spam. That is no reason to go to such extremes and language.
Yes you may report her for stealing the picture and not giving proper credit.
But that is no reason to insult how she did it because I think she did a awesome job.
You really should just send that in a pm or comment it with nicer language because honestly, when reading all of the comments and knowing that the picture is stolen and editted and claimed to be her own, who do you think looks worse?
In my opinion you look a lot worse then she does.
And if you comment back to me just insulting me and calling me a dumb ass or something for defending her at all it just proves my point.

You very obviously have never had any of your art stolen before. I have. It's insulting and rude. Excuse me for being understandably upset about something that bothers me. You also are VERY obviously not familiar with photoshop or someting similar, because if you were you would realize that it's a horrible edit. The color is unnatural and the color is bleeding into the eyes and eyelids. Your standards for 'awesome' are low.
And I won't even commment on the fact that you think someone who spams is worse than an art thief.
I wouldn't waste my time with a note because I want the comment here, where everyone can see it. And I won't be nice to a person who knowingly steals.
You may be nonchalant about someone who steals other peoples work, but I'm not so therefore I will go to any extremes it takes to make sure that the person commiting a CRIME is dealt with. And don't lecture me on my language. That's annoying and frankly, it's none of your DAMN business.
thankyouverymuch

Fox-Rachel In reply to Harlequinbeautie [2010-02-24 03:51:07 +0000 UTC]
I'll admit that no I have not ever had my art stolen and I have told people not to steal others artwork. Heck, I can find a picture on a random website like photobucket (which is almost never filled with their own artwork) and if I find the true artist I will ask if I can have it on my photobucket or just delete it.
And I take it your standards for awesome, which is just a opinion, are so high and right? I think it varies depending on the picture. I like puppies for one thing and that color is beautiful. A different example is, your gallery. It is clearly well made stuff but it's not at all in my taste, far too.. dark? I guess is the best term for it.
And what's wrong with it being a unnatural color? That's what makes it so pretty.
And it's not that the spammer is worse then an art thief, I would rather know a spammer then a art thief, I'm referring to the person who is doing both. It's more of the two-wrongs don't make a right to me that's probably bothering me so much.
And if you feel so strongly about it then you just report her. Spamming her comments is not dealing with the problem, she would just ignore you.
Then again, judging from your little rants in the gallery, arguing is pointless with you. So whatever, like you said. It's none of my DAMN business. So don't even bother replying.
you'reverywelcome!

I wasn't going to reply, but I shupposeee I should say thanks to the 'well made' comment even if my art isn't to your tastes, though I know you just checked out my gallery to see if I just talk a lot of smack or something XD
But please let me explain the logic behind my anger at this person.
1. She lied. And not just about the photograph being hers. I'm used to that crap. But she said the eyes weren't edited. That's childish and annoying. I will agree that the color she chose was pretty, but she should have just said that the eyes were edited, or shouldn't have commented on it at all. That would have taken away a large majority of my irritation. There was NO reason to lie about that.
2. The reason why I commented on a majority of the comments on this page (which weren't very many) is because I don't want her giving out false information about animals. She actually tells one person all about puppies and their blue eyes, like she actually knows what shes talking about, leading the person to believe that animals can actually have an eye color such as this. I'm very passionate about animals, and I hate when people give out bull crap false information on them. She also tries telling people that this dog is 9 months old, and that she hopes when the puppy gets older she'll keep her 'blue eyes' even though by the time a dog is three months old they lose their puppy eye color. And at nine months old a dog is basically full grown.
Two wrongs don't make a right but sometimes it's the only way to solve a situation. I did report the deviation. I did that before I even commented on this piece. I'm not just all talk.
As for my standards of awesome, no they aren't high and they aren't always right. I'm not like that. I'm a person who appreciates the amount of effort an artist puts into a piece, and thats how I judge the awesomeness. This would take all of ten minutes in photoshop. That's not effort, and it makes it worse that it's stolen.
Arguing is kind of pointless with me, but I'm actually very open minded and I'm not even a mean person. I just have high morals and high standards for people, and someone who knowingly steals another persons hard work is just a complete and utter skag.
I'm sorry if you think I'm mean and childish, but even so I'm sure the original owner of this picture would appreciate my spamming and efforts to try and get this picture removed.

I admire your "rant"oh so greatly.
I also hate when a person steals artwork. To think that someone would work so hard on the creation of it, only to have some theif snatch it behind their back and manipulate it to some distorted piece of eyecandy that ends up with more exposure and 's, just disgusts me.
Have some originality people!!
And your right about the eye color thing, if your going to lie, at least be SMART about it. I hate a stupid lie from a ignorant tounge.

*Flinches some at being caught in the act* I was checking to see what kind of art people would steal since you said you had been stolen from before. Plus it would have been nice to catch you just talking out your ass (at least I think that's the expression my mom used).
1. Agreed. Claiming those are it's natural eyes is wrong since that puppy would be famous for having eyes like that by now.
2. I can sympathize with that honestly. If I did know any animal facts and caught someone giving the false information, I would call them out on it. I think it was mostly the way you did it that annoyed me honestly.
See, that's where I can never grasp it. I personally like it for how it looks, maybe that's shallow or something.. I know friends who can draw great pictures in 10 minutes and then I'd think that was awesome. Whereas they can spend days drawing it, outlining it, coloring it and then finishing it and I can be completely unimpressed. I like it sketchy myself.
That's good to know. I realized from looking at your profile that you couldn't be a terrible person like the comments first impressioned me with.
And considering you're talking to a girl who herself has pretty high morals, I can't exactly fault you for that. My morals just don't apply to strongly to artwork I suppose.
Like personally I wouldn't mind people editing any of my stuff if they did something like this to one of my pictures, although I would certainly not wanting them claiming it as their own and lieing to people over it.
So more power to ya.

Yes but she still changed it. It's not completely stolen and in it's original form. Most of the comments and compliments are for it's eyes, which I believe is her work. Is it now? And that is true, she doesn't seem to know what she's talking about.

And there is no way she is a spaniel.
I have a spaniel and they look nothing like that.
Also, dogs eyes can not be that color.

That's not a 9 month old puppy. A9 month old puppy is pretty much the size of an adult dog.
No matter what breeds are mixed into it. A 9 month old has adult dog features. This only has puppy features, which leads me to believe that this isn't a photo of your dog.
And judging from your gallery, none of the work there is yours. I've seen several things in your gallery somewhere else ages before you joined.
