SINCE WHEN WAS I ABLE TO DRAW?!
Okay, so somewhere between the last image I drew up until this one I somehow figured out how to draw exactly the way I've always wanted.
I have NO IDEA how, but I guess it might be because I've spent an... unnecessarily long time just staring at screenshots from the movies.
I am just... I... I just don't know anymore. This is the most surprising thing I have ever done. But of course... it had to be on a school paper. Thank GOODNESS I don't have to turn this one in.
Oh yeah, and best part for me personally? NO REFS USED! ^^

You just draw and redraw and redraw until i looks good and then add more stuff inside and around it and keep redrawing it until you get what you're looking for.
I mean, this is the VERY BEST I can do, and it STILL took me an entire afternoon.
That's why I don't consider myself an artist. Cuz artists are actually good at stuff like this.

Haha I do that all the time. I always draw on school sheets. But half the time I find out that I need them, and they have stupid scribblings on the back. XD
And this is fricken amazing!! The shading, the expression... Argh. It's just too awesome. C:
All there really is to improve, like Miza said, is the head should be a little bit longer. But I still really like this one.

Yeah. I can almost never draw a picture if it's on a blank sheet of paper. I think it's some sort of stage-fright-like mindset that I slip into and I end up unable to even touch the pencil to the paper. But! Already "populated" sheets of paper I guess make the whole thing seem less... official and therefore allow me to be free to do whatever the heck comes to mind.

When I read that this morning, I was ready to defend myself and be all "No! It's just fine, leave me alone!" but I was a good boy and waited to make sure I wasn't emotionally biased and then cross-checked it... aaaand you're right. We have a much bigger snout than what I did.

Um... well I know I must have missed a lot, but I kinda went blindly through my messages and cleared everything out because one of the reasons I wasn't coming back as much was because the huge load of messages was actually scaring me off. I would never have had the time to sift through that much stuff so I decided to start with a clean slate.
