Wow!
This image is alive. I swear it's possessed of the mania and fear that can only come from dating Cthulhu himself. Clearly inspired by "The Scream" this tells it all. I love the way the image is warped and the flesh seems to melt into itself.
The man's expression is classic and the lighting is strikingly bright for all the horror the piece drips down the page.
I also like the attention to details in the mottled skin, the pupilless eyes and the drawn mouth that seems to go on forever. My only critical thing I can think of to say is that the paper background could be used to turn terror into something more... but maybe the world isn't ready for that. Good job!

This piece is inspiring, especially for me, since I am a horror writer. Either way, to the critiquing. This piece truly shows the hoors of stress. Often, it does feels as though one could 'bond' with themselves by the hours of rubbing their face, trying to get whatever deed they need to be done, well, done. The eyes that are rolled back truly shows just how tiring and aweful stress truly is. The gaping mouth truly makes the viewer feel as in if the person is screaming out their soul. The brown on the shoulder shows the hard work put into this person's being. Amazing piece. So, there in, I have one request: if I sent you a transcript of my first book (given that I have yet to complete the typing of it), would you do some art on it for me?

Terrifying, excellent work. I see elements of inspiration from The Ring. Excellent work. I actually can't offer much in terms of critique, I don't see any obvious flaws or anything I would change. Very good job with the clone stamp and blending techniques. Excellent use of added color under the eye, it really helps convey the sleepless stressed eye look. Your work is also somewhat indicative of the Scary Stories books artwork by Stephen Gammell. I suppose the only thing that distracts my eye as the viewer is the natural sun spots on the shoulder. I have that on my skin as well, and in a way it can add to the realism of the image. However I feel that trying to convey a sort-of sickly or pale look of the surrounding skin would help draw the eye to the center of the mouth and eye. Great work, keep it up.

You really know how to use whatever programmes you used. Thank goodness I'm viewing this in the bright sunlight instead of midnight. Fantastic

I know that feel, bro
Really, this is an excellent piece. The feeling is portrayed perfectly and your art style is Grade A while doing the concept justice. I'll be clocking on some of those thumb links for more. I'm very interested!
