sakldjalksjd and new Running wild album is out next month!!! ...and i remember how disappointed i was back in tha day when i discovered this band: "oh damn, they just played their farewel show in 2009" 8,D (which i now got on DVD & CD. its awesome, but i wish i could understand german so the speeches between songs would make some bloody sense to me) ...so you can imagine how excited i was when Rolf announced the comeback in... october was it?
yyeeeah. hm. I also wish Running wild was more well known... im having tough time finding them albums! I WANT MOAR PIRATY METAL GOODNES!!! YARRRRR!!!

anywhooo... yeah, watercolor pencils again. I loves them. hm. ive actually been thinkin of drawin Rolf for a while now, but i had hard time choosing a ref picture
I went with this one naturally because of the cap'n feeling of it and i liked the expression. which was actually extremely difficult to do. a gaze to the distance, determined look in the eyes, tensed biting of lover lip with a hint of smile in the eyes. (yes, i always take the expressions, especially eyes, to wery close review, because they must be right, god damnit. thats what makes the core athmosphere of portrait.) But i think i fucked up dat other eye -__-", so thats why theres that funny looking shadow covering right side of his face. oh well, i gues you must fail sometimes.... And the fretting hand looks a bit wonky. O_0
