That doesn't fit. Gine is repeatedly stated to be bad at fighting, not against the Saiyans' murderous way of of life. She previously participated in the mass genocide of alien worlds prior to admitting she's a bad fighter and switching jobs.

Reading from the bio, how come you stick to Minus' "Bardock and Gine sending Goku to Earth," rather than the manga's and TV special's "low class warrior sent to destroy Earth?"

I usually always settle on a mixture of both worlds when it comes to writing most material in the project. Bardock and Gine caring about Kakarotto and waking him up early to ship him off to Earth as a means to avoid Freeza's wrath doesn't mean he wasn't meant to be an infiltrator baby when he was actually scheduled to wake up.

I know what you're saying, and I'm telling you you're wrong. Where they end up is irrelevant, but as of the time period the sheet represents: Bardock willingly slaughters aliens for a living, Gine used to and is still okay with her family doing it, and Goku tried to kill Grandpa Gohan when they first met... Evil.

And Gine was "benevolent" by Saiyan standards. She was still a killer and profited off of the deaths of innocent people.

I'm curious to see how your version of Dragon Ball Minus works. I didn't quite like the original version of it, and since you're a good writer, I'm sure you could come up with a way to make it, at the very least, less Superman-ish.

I don't have an inherent problem with the Superman-ish origin anymore. If anything, my planned Bardock Special/DB- hybrid may actually make the connection worse (unintentionally).

If she had never joined Bardock's squad, that'd possibly be a different story for this specific sheet, but she's fought (badly) and killed Tsufruians as well as other alien species afterwards until she eventually retired to become a butcher. She has blood on her hands and she doesn't care; that's not neutral. Not yet.
