Now that you mention it... with the artificial light of street lamps, about anything is possible, so I just "believed" it.
Anyway, now that I know, I'd say, this overall coppery tone adds something to it!

I could see that, the one on the left is a cafe, and I think the one on the right was just an office building, although I'm not 100% sure

Thank you!   Personally I want my art to be seen/shared as I want it to look, so I don't really bother with watermarks or any of that.  I upload my photos already resized for web display, so they aren't large enough to make prints from, and that's about the only precaution I take.  I have had my art taken and posted on other sites before without my permission, but as long as I'm credited by name, I figure it's free publicity.   I've met a few photographers on DA who are very paranoid about art theft, and eventually it leads to them putting 18 watermarks on their photos and uploading them in postage stamp size, which makes the art unviewable anyways.
If you do want to take further precautions, you can add your own watermark, use DAs watermark, or add your name to the image metadata.  None of these will keep your art from being stolen, but it will make it easier for other people to find the original artist if it happens. I hope that's helpful!

I definitely see what you mean. I don't want to obstruct the image using a watermark, though I do want it protected. May I ask how you add your name to the metadata? Again, thank you so much for the reply, I really appreciate it!

no problem at all! www.peachpit.com/guides/conten… will walk you through it using photoshop, most image editors have a way to edit metadata though if you're using something else
