Description
Rutledge Lane in the Melbourne CBD,VIC,Australia. HDR in photomatix, tweaked/resized in photoshop. Due to a catastrophic hard drive failure yesterday I lost 10 years worth of photos. I brought the drive to a data recovery place for them to inspect it and see if the data is recoverable, but I won't find out until Monday if it's salvageable or how much it'll cost to get back. In the meantime I'll be grabbing photos from my facebook and personal site , so the exif data will be gone on some of them and the image quality will be not the best (Facebooks' image compression is pretty extreme). Also, there will be no wallpapers/prints until I get the whole mess sorted out, because I currently don't have access to the full-res versions of anything.Related content

IF your able to salvage this one, I feel the colors should be more intense here. Overall your whole gallery seems a bit dark, not mood lighting or content - I mean color wise.
Maybe because its night time there isn't enough light to capture the light I think to myself but then again photo shop. Or maybe you want to keep these pieces true to what you've seen color wise. If not possibly going back to the scene with a big 'Ol sheet of white paper to get enough reflective light. (Sometimes it works sometimes not - I don't think it'll work here honestly because of the depth of the alley).
Maybe I just like colors?
I have to admit what the best part of this piece was is the light reflecting on the gate. I really love the texture of this one and the center's eye brings the photo together.

In the case of this shot at least I was trying to make the lighting look roughly how it was when I took the photo. Admittedly though I do tend to edit my photos a little bit on the dark side even when I shoot during the day, it's a personal preference more than anything else I guess thank you very much!

thank you very much! Street art is actually encouraged in this particular laneway, it's even a tourist attraction.

Wow my friend, this is quite unique! I like the motion my eye takes in this shot and the scene is definitely artistic. The placement of the center eye is nice and the lightiing to the scene reminds me of a video game or something and the colors are quite vivid. Hard to believe this is actually a photo and not a digital creation!

thank you very much! With the way that I process HDR photos they often end up looking a little bit video game-y.

I love how the eye is central to this shot. Very artistic. Thanks for sharing.
