Here's a little something I posted to Tumblr, but forgot to post here. I plan to place this at the end of the official Chapter 3 PDF once it's up for revision.

This is really for my readers who would like to draw on-model Valiard art. Maybe this might give the beginner artists among you an inside look into my method of constructing a head.

This should also answer one of the questions I get asked the most: How do you keep a character looking the same from every angle? It's simple. Plot out the character's proportions and stick to them no matter what. If you'd like to practice, see if you can draw Ruth's front and profile views using the proportions on this sheet. You can use my other drawings of the character as reference if you get stuck. Pretty soon you'll get the hang of it.
