Description This was not the first time that one of the three villains had run into trouble. The villains had so much trouble, that some called them trouble magnets.  For example, last week, Hopskotch had been trapped in a tree by a Hero Factory unit with a dog. It was only the timely arrival of his fellow villains that he escaped. Another time, Angel, who had been covering the other two during a heist, was literally jumped on, by another Hero Factory agent. The other two had saved her, but the loot was lost.

Whoever said there was no honor among thieves had never met this trio.

However, honor among thieves did not put food on the table, or patch the roof in the decrepit warehouse where they hid, or keep their weapons from breaking, as they constantly did.

"The way I see it, we have four problems," said Hopskotch, as he paced by the seated Angel and Gunslinger.

"Only four?" asked Gunslinger. "There has to be at least a dozen HF's who'd love to arrest us. That's more than four!"

"Only four," said Hopskotch. "They are as follows,"

"1. We have no money."

"2. Since we have no money, our weapons constantly break down."

"3. Since our weapons constantly break down, we can't defend ourselves from Hero Factory agents."

"4. Since we can't defend ourselves, we can neither steal enough, nor get hired enough, to get any money. Thus, again, we have no money."

"Each of those problems leads right into the next. And as of now, we really have no way to break the cycle."

"Is there a way?" asked Angel.

"Yes, but it won't be easy, or probable, in most cases. We either need a really big heist, someone to donate us some new weapons, Hero Factory to fall off the face of the earth, or one of us to inherit a large sum of money for no rational reason."

Gunslinger, who had been toying with his broken blaster, looked up. "So, what are we going to do?"

Hopskotch sighed, and pulled off his watch. "Guys, go pawn this off. It might get enough money for us to live for awhile…" He sighed again, before tossing it to Gunslinger. "Angel, right now your crossbow is probably the only weapon that works. Go with Gunslinger, and watch each other's backs." Hopskotch turned, and left the room.

"Is it really as bad as he says, you think?" asked Angel to Gunslinger.

Gunslinger shrugged. "I guess so."
