Description Two figures ran through an alley. One on the run, one in pursuit.

The one being chased had orange and black armor. His name was Garret Holidae, though everyone called him by his code name, Gunslinger.

The pursuer had blue and silver armor. She was named Amelia Vex, and was a Hero Factory agent. And like all good Hero Factory minions, she was pursuing a villain. For that's what Gunslinger was.

Gunslinger was a smuggler, who found illegal or uncommon objects, and sold them on the black market. Needless to say, this made him a villain in the eyes of the Hero Factory, though he considered it capitalism, and a necessity to live.

And so, Gunslinger ran. He pulled out his blaster, pointed it behind him, and fired. The blaster fired, but the shot went wild, missing the pursuing hero.

Gunslinger fired again, but this time the blaster sparked, and did not fire at all. He cursed, and continued to run, only to fall down as the Hero fired her blaster at him, knocking him down and stunning him for a few seconds, long enough for the hero to catch up.

"Sorry Gunslinger, but you lose," said hero Vex, as she placed her blaster to Gunslinger's neck.

Gunslinger groaned. He had been caught. "How about you let me escape, please? You know you like chasing me." This smart remark resulted in a swift kick in the stomach by the Hero. Police brutality was quite commonplace.

"Shut up," said the hero. She then pulled out a set of manacles, to take Gunslinger away with.

Thus ends my life outside of the law… thought Gunslinger, as he slowly raised his hands to be arrested.

A green-armored figure watched as Gunslinger was grabbed and hand-cuffed. The figure jumped down, in front of the Hero Factory Agent.

"Hello, Ms. Vex," said the figure. "Bothering Gunslinger, are we?"

The Hero turned her blaster from Gunslinger and onto the green-armored figure. "Shut up, Hopskotch. This doesn't concern you. Now get out of here, or you're next."

"It concerns my employee, and thus, it concerns me." Hopskotch drew out his blaster, aimed, and pulled the trigger.

Click, Click, Click

Hopskotch cursed, and threw his blaster down.

"Problems with your blaster?" smirked Vex. "Now, either get going, or surrender." She pointed her blaster at Hopskotch's chest.

Hopskotch smirked back, and made a small gesture with his left hand.

Above the Hero and the villains, there was a small clicking sound, and suddenly, a short metal arrow flew down, striking the hero directly between her shoulder blades. The hero fell, not dead, but merely unconscious, from the tranquilizer that the arrow was coated in.

"Nice shot, Angel!" called Hopskotch, as he poked the fallen hero.

From a roof above, a young female villain jumped down. She wore bright red armor, and was holding a small crossbow that was made out of spare parts. After dropping down, she went to the fallen hero, and removed both the crossbow bolt, and the keys to the manacles. She then went over to Gunslinger, and removed his manacles.

"Thanks, guys," said Gunslinger, as he stood up, and relived the unconscious hero of her wallet. "Let's get out of here."

The three villains ran, as sirens began to sound in the distance.
