Description
After several months of racing in Forza Motorsport 4 and participating in organised online races with advice from my friend , I can understand that there is allot more into motorsport and racing than just picking a car and racing it. That being said, it lead me to this idea of Steven M trying to figure out motorsport related equations and physics.Now, some of the equations are just jokes but overall, there is allot to be concerned within motorsport such as tyre pressure, spring tension, passing points on a track, ect, ect.

Mechanics never was my preferred part of physics XD
But in theory it's very interesting what forces effects on the car when driving in a curve, or when braking and so on.
Like the centrifugal force when you drive in a roundabout for 10 times very fast

I can imagine, besides, you wouldn't want to drive 10 times round a roundabout at full throttle in a car that's 60 years old and has no seatbelts (E.g a Morris minor or a 50's version of the VW Beetle).
Just thought id' mention it because my friend has an old 1954 Morris Minor which I rode in back in February and you can certainly feel the centrifugal force when turning in a car that has no seatbelts.

I guess I know what you mean. An old school friend of mine has an old Moskwitsch (with seat belts, but very poor ones).
I'll never drive with him again over 50 Kilometer Autobahn....it sounded like an old bus.....a very loud old bus.

same for real life, ppl learn on driving from simulators and real life as mechanics and stuff....some ppl start at a young age into karting and other forms, even ppl start motor racing later in their life.

but thanks to the work of sims games for everyone, games like forza 4 r being used for online groups like The Online Racing Association (TORA) is the only group in the world which is under a real governing body, The Motorsports Associaton of the United Kingdom (MSA).
