Love this pic, not so much the anime and the manga leaves something to be desired...but I've never seen so much nudity and blood in one place before. Really like how you've captured Lucy's demented side and complemented it with weird artsy background in the opening.

i've watched elfen lied... own it in fact. one thing is that the us version is missing an eps (14... kinda a funny one that brakes away from the darkness of the others... and it technically happens before eps 13).
any other thing was that i found the ending to be a lot happier then i was expecting. i though everyone was going to die. :3
anyhoo, nice pic... though the thumb on the hand looks a bit detached. i applaud your effort though... a lot of folks don't make the hand a focal point in their work. do some more hand studies... and not from anime. use your own hand or someone else's. trust me, study from real life helps a lot. and don't shy from it just because you want to do 'anime/manga/japanese' style only... a lot of those guys actually do their life studies too. seriously.
