Description The design itself is practically done, but still quite a bit needs to be added when a few other things are figured out, so until those are set, uploading this for criticism and the such. This one's a bit of a gamble on the design front, so I really do want to hear your takes on it.

:Things to take note of:

-The Specter is "technically not" a UAV/fighter. The Lore Gods™ are currently convening to fix the backstory behind this thing. Will update when that's settled.

-Has a single seat cockpit to allow the Specter to be controlled directly.

-Has a built in "technically not" AI that manages the aircraft when not under a human's control. Lore Gods™ are also working on this one.

-One of it's main intended uses is to be commanded by an R.G.O. during sorties, boosting fighting power without putting more lives at risk. For example, a single VTF-22 R.G.O. would be able to command up to 5 of these at once, putting a fighting force of 6 aircraft while only having to have to send out 2 people.

-Due to the ability to be piloted without having an actual human on board, the Specter was made to be hyper-maneuverable and is often seen to be moving in ways that a human pilot would not be able to handle. This combined with the fact that knowledge of the Specter's unmanned capabilities were a heavily guarded secret gave some opposing nations the mentality that Vredden pilots were "not human."

-The Specter's variable wings and high output Kelvium based engine allow it to achieve speeds of up to mach 6, solidifying it's role as a quick response support fighter. It's ability to quickly enter and exit a combat area has on numerous occasions saved the lives of many pilots.

---------------------

I'll continue to add more to this as it's finished.

i love this design, i would really like to see it expanded, possibly with more angles. though that doesn't seem like your thing.

My mind sees this as: wings closed=space, open=atmospheric

Will there be side/front/back/bottom profile views aswell? I LOVE the profile of this thing. Look's like a natural predator.

At some point, yes. I'm just holding off for the moment to solidify a few other ideas and concepts before completing this and my previous aircraft. Thanks for looking

Kinda reminds me of the Talons in "Stealth" but the swing wings going the other way
Maybe think about a SCRAM or RAMjet booster when those wings are in, that arrowhead profile is asking for mach 5+

There was a little inspiration from the Talons, but it was mostly F-14's, F-22's and a bit from the YF-23. As for the speed, yea, I marked that a bit low in retrospect. I'll be sure to correct that.
