Description Ok, maybe this meme influence map come up late but let's give it a try...

Well I ended up with 10 influence artists:

- For the coloring stuff like skin shading and use of color etc: Warren Louw, Jasse jane (aka wakkawa), Stanley Lau, and Terry Dodson

- Line art & character concept: Eric Jones, Kenneth Rocafort, Shunya Yamashita, and J. Scott Campbell

- Rendering quality & anatomy details: Cakes and PlusNine (don't know the real name)

Most of my artworks really inspired by them and still practicing untill now...

Here's the link for the meme template [link]

It means that he's using brush on corel painter with the custom brush settings and opacity stuff...
I like how he can blended the skin colors so smoothly..
I never tried Corel Painter actually but on photoshop that blended thing on the skin, fur, etc can be made by adjusting the brush tip shape, shape dynamics and so on...

Can I ask, what does it mean to render as you refer to Plusnine. I can't figure it out. I've watched his livesteps but I don't understand it. He seems to start out with a soft grey color for skin and then piles on colors, the colors become blended under the grey and add depth. I tried using multiply, screen, soft light. But I still don't understand. Help?
