I feel dirty uploading unfinished work like this... but what the heck — better now than never.

So a couple year ago I got into Warhammer with my kids... here are the first Warhammer figures ever — had a pack of 3 Space Marines — one for each of us and just recently I decided to repaint mine — and I am blown away by how far I’ve come (thanks to some hobby glasses too).

So here’s a comparison of what these looked liked previously vs what I’m able to do now. To think I was a little nervous painting these back in the day... now it’s just... something I do! I love how like.. the more you paint a range of models, the more you begin to understand all their little details and how to paint each. You just start picking up details here and there and start paying more attention to each. It’s reading a model like you would a book — you can either browse through it quickly or read it properly and take in the details.
