edit 7/11/12: Shaded it instead of inked!Just in time for July 4th is my take on the freedom fighter, computer genius and wise ass extraordinaire Kerr Avon from the series Blakes 7. The man is awesome to watch in the same respect as loving Happy Bunny: Avon says all the crass and caustic things we choose to internalize, and for that we love him. Maybe I'll ink this one soon, but I'll leave it in graphite for now.
Notes: 1. Paul Darrow, the actor that portrayed Avon, voiced Zarok from the PS game Medievil!
2. With the exception of this one depicted, why in God's name does Avon's wardrobe in the series make him look like a sadomasochist??
3. Please no jokes about the gun...

He looked good in black, but the wardrobe designers, instead of going with 'Less is more', went in the opposite direction and made him look like an escapee from a bondage session.
The leather, as long as it was understated, was fine; but all of those studs? Um...NO!
This looks nice shaded. It makes for a nice change from something that is inked.

I love that line! My personal favorite is when he responds to Zen's battle strategy of surrender in "Duel": Logic says we're dead!

I think his wardrobe was trying to imply that he's a callous, cold human being.
I found it quite fascinating that the second lead -- later the primary lead -- was actually a rather unheroic and not-very-nice person, although he did come to care for the others in spite of himself.
