I kinda had this in my head for awhile, what Batty's life was like back at the lab (tear)...Despite the gloom and horror, I love how it came out

*I head in* STOP RIGHT THERE! *I ran over to the guy with the needle, then I take it and throw out the window. I then knock both scientists out cold* Let's get you out of here. *I then write a note, put it where Batty was, which says the following: "Are you ashamed of yourselves? He's too cute to be harmed like this. You should have taken his fears into consideration, you vile, vile humans."* Let's get you to safety. *I left the lab and headed to somewhere that I thought he would be safe at.* There you go. I may not have grown up with your story, but it sounds horrifying.

*I burst into the lab.* STOP!!!!! *Run to the scientist with the needle, snatches it and chucks it, then notices Batty* Awww. You poor thing. *gets him free* Shouldn't you all be ashamed of yourselves?!?! Harming such an innocent adorable creature. Look at him, the poor Batty's scared to death. *Batty shakes like a leaf and tears fill his eyes, we get to safety, and Batty starts to cry. I cradle him in my hands and sing him a lullaby* There there Batty. Shhhhh. Shhhhh. It's okay sweetheart. *I hold him close* You're safe now. I'm here.

THESE my friend is the Nightmare of my childhood. Batty and Secret of Nimh made me a animal testing fighter since the Age of 7.
Nothing could scared me - Monsters, guns, Clowns, murderers ...But when I dreamed of animal testing, I awaked....Sweatsoaked.
My poor Boy. This hurts to look at, but its marvellously done.

RIP Koda, Batty's inspiration (1990?-1993), rescued from the UCLA and found dead on the floor of a sanctuary cage six weeks later from injuries suffered through testing

My heart hurts, poor guy! I remember watching this movie when I was younger. I still recall playing his song over and over becuase I loved it so much; however, now that I'm older and I understand the lyrics, it's an extremely dark song and I can't help but feel for the poor bat. It's hard to imagine what he went through, and heck, sometimes it's better if we don't know everything he experienced.
I actually have a character who could definitely empathize with Batty seeing as she was also the subject of "scientific" experiments.

It's a touchy subject indeed, and I agree that it's sometimes better left unsaid. But it helps with his character (as terrible as that sounds

i liked this idea with opening with black screen and sparks. but you acsuly don't have to worry about it, last night i was playing with MY idea and i liked it enough. so i don't need it anymore.

If you think about it, this poor little guy had it really bad. Yet he's so pleasant about it. And to think he had to go through this consent toucher everyday. Worst part is Crysta and the other fairies don't what the hell he talking about half the time. If only they saw it for themselves.
