The image that you see is merely an image
There's so much behind it, so much that you don't see
The beauty suffocates you with a shower of lies
If only the world wasn't so ignorant
If only we weren't mindless puppets on strings
Life is our stage on which we put a show
To please all of the other imperfections around us.

The image destroys us slowly
Turning our minds into nothing
Crushing our lives with a blink of a pretty eye
As your mistakes unfold you ask yourself why
Unknowing that it was you that betrayed yourself.

Open your eyes!
Look around, search for what is within
Reality has been dismantled and buried
And replaced with wondrous flowers
Flowers that kill the innocence in the air.

Like a secret disease that spreads like a wild fire
The image murders us all.
