To say it was asked to do a 'follow up' to fan art was a interesting request, the characters belong to Karooz, and did contact him in advance if I was ok to do a continuation from a piece that dated from 2011!Β
Note: The corridor in the drawing is based on the ingame interior during base defense.Β

Thanks, ultimately it was fun to do, though I had forgotten all about the orignal image (including as well briefly searching online if there was an anime xcom in works!) till it was brought to my attention again.Β
Xcom probably make a decent anime but like with most anime shows don't expect it to get beyond season 2 without a dip in quality (looking at you one punch man!)

Admittingly I was a wary of doing a follow up to someone elseβs work, let alone trying to be consistent to the original style.Β
