So it's new theme time.This round's theme is:
Mike Mignola
the pieces can be busts, waist up or even full body.
It's really how I feel about the character and how I see the character (there's no choice in the matter, sorry)

Mike's Heavy blacks and solid colors are not just plain jane, they are iconic. I love his work and the fact that you did something in his style of art.

Interesting usage of the intense black shading and orange highlight. Feels like a collaboration between Gainax and Capcom.

Totally got the Mignola going on, the bar of light over her and the random spots on the dark background especially sell it, he's always doing that stuff.

but there is more to it than that, and with more observation and practice I shall experiment to learn more.

this is a great piece. Im a huge fan of mignola (aren't we all) I i love the way you've managed to re-create the feel of his work wile still remaining true to your style. His style is so bold it's easy to get lost in it, but i still feel a strong sense of Chamba in this. Brovo!

I'm really glad, and i feel i am lucky, that you draw for me! Your picture is really good, and cool. I think, you catched Akane's personality, you give a mysterious and a deathly aura for her. I love the colours and the contrasts. Skulls in the clouds/fog is a good idea.
