Ever since I played this game, I became a fan for life.

Oh the nostalgia for that one. It is rather shameful, I know, but Mega-Man 2 was the first, and probably the only, Nintendo game that I ever beat. Everything else I fell short. Like Super Mario Bros, I died a lot on World 6. Legend of Zelda, I got my ass kicked on the 5th Underworld. And it was only after the advent of the Game Genie that I was able to beat them, which I know doesn't count.

Now that I've seen the full series, I'm commenting here to speak to them all (largely because MM2 was my favorite game of the franchise). This is just a master class, man. They chose the right person for this job, and you proved why cover after cover. I love the way you brought such dynamism to every shot - always one of your hallmarks and greatest strengths, but I'm impressed every time anyway. You managed to capture the feel of Mega Man, translating how we all imagined his adventures when we were kids, sitting too close to the TV and watching that tough little sprite charge across the screen. The NES gave us an invitation to imagine more, and you perfectly recreated our collective imaginations.
I'm a really big MM fan, I guess, so maybe I'm overthinking it all (like I do...) but I loved watching you roll these out over the last week. I'm really glad for you that you got this job, and sweet merciful crap did you bring it home. Very well done, sir. Bravo.

Yeah it was definitely a nice vote of confidence to me to be selected for these.
Even whilst drawing them, I was telling myself that these may not see print,
as many things I've done in the past for work have remained unseen by public.
So it was extra cool to see these unveiled and actually be used for the products
they were created for.

Awesome work on all these Megaman pictures. I saw them on the Facebook page. The perspective here is unique and interesting, and of course I love the inclusion of Quickman - my fav robot master from this game. Great job and I hope you do more from this series.
