Description Um...

I have no idea why I drew this.

Group portrait of the main characters of Wanderlust:
From left to right, Max, Ferris, Elena, Klaus.

Will probably update with a not cop-out background soon.

I think this is pretty close to the aesthetic I'll be using for the actual comic.

Constructive criticism welcome

Oh the daily rituals of getting ready in the morning or evening. (sigh)
I like this picture, it's candid which is a nice breather from the conventional "posed" pictures. I like the fact that you chose to draw OC's doing something simple and so human--you gave them a breath of reality which gives them a connetion to the viewer.
Their mannerisms are shown here in subtle ways, like the gent w/ the black eye trying to button his shirt to the sweetly tired girl I can easily understand as I look like that in the morningg! This is a good example of creating & portraying characters in a manner where the viewer can relate & form a bond.
Now to the nit picking: Something that jumped out at me was the anatomy, you''ve got a really good idea of the body & movement but they are "flat" in a sense meaning they still look a shade 2D rather than 3D. I know it's hard to try & force something to look 3D what I try to do is break down the body into curves, cones, cirlces, & tubes--BASIC stuff 101 that isn't entirely wonderful but it is helping me in understanding how to create that feeling of a 3D person before me rather than a 2D on paper. If that makes sense? Something that might help, I see you go right to the edge w/ your shading which most shadows don't usually hang on the edge of something--they linger more to the side or n the middle of a curved object. This tut [link] REALLY helped me a lot. It's about skin--I know but her description of shading & examples helped me in understanding shading.
Overall, I think you have an ability to really capture interest, I know many don't like B&W picture of the mundane tasks but if I were reading a story I would relate to characters like your OC's here b/c you've made them "real". Keep it up!! i want to see more!

I didn't get to thank you for the crit I don't think (don't remember).

Thanks very much for the critique! Very helpful. I really appreciate it.

I have been SWAMPED in work, so probably won't be back on DACAD for a while. You're the only one who gave me any feedback, so once again, thank you!
