Description The Lanthanides Series, of the bottom two rows/blurb, this one is the top one. Like the other groups, except with way more members that I had to draw out...

From left to right: Promethium, Lanthanum, Dysprosium, Erbium, Ytterbium, Terbium, Neodymium, Praseodymium, Samarium, Holmium, Gadolinium, Cerium, Thulium, Lutetium, and Europium. (Like there's so many I feel like I forgot some)

So Lanthanum has to take care of this large house, with most of them enjoying getting into trouble or just ending up getting into trouble. He's seen here originally going to attend to Promethium, who wants to isolate himself and not be here. However, he sees the mess that's about to get going. Dysprosium lingers in the background, not much of a problem child. Erbium is bothering Ytterbium, who himself is attempting to stop Terbium's shit. Terbium's provoking Neo, as Neo's really easy to set off, but it won't end well. Neo's twin, seems to be oblivious right now at his twin's temper rising, as Pras is talking with Samarium. Samarium is holding Holmium's hand and taking care of him (he was probably telling him a story a few minutes ago). However Holmium sees further down the other problem that just... came into light, and he's trying to get Sam's attention. Gad's displaying his "O.O" face as his neighbour, Cerium, suddenly bursts into flames. Cerium's used to this. Nobody else though, especially Thulium who can't do much about anything. Lutetium hears the commotion, glad to get out of a conversation with Europium, who clearly doesn't give a shit if it's not about him.

I'm probably inconsistent with their designs but whatever.

(The Lanthanides are named after the first one in the row, lanthanum. All of them are considered "Rare Earth Elements", although this other group has the addition of yttrium and scandium. Despite this name, most are not rare. Not really common, but they can be found more easily than say gold. They're probably called this because they're obscure ones. It's rare to find someone who can name them all off the bat.
The Lanthanides don't have many uses, or used to, as they are highly reactive and soft by themselves. However, in recent years, these metals have proven their abilities (mainly in alloys) as they help with the advancement in technology and nuclear studies. Your cellphone will most likely contain a few of them in some parts, the fact that it can vibrate is thanks to neodymium and dysprosium. Some have dubbed the lanthanides as the "technology metals", thanks to their many contributions recently.)

I still think it's funny that some people debate over whether Lanthanum is a Lanthanide. Same for Actinum and Actinides.

Well, more like debating whether La and Ac belong in the D-Block or F-Block.

As I'm not an expert, I simply place La and Ac with the F-Block to complete their respective families... however, if I do extensive research, and I'm wrong, I'll switch them to the D-Block.

Ah yeah. It's a grey zone, and looks better if you're able to stretch out the page that the Table is on where everything can fit.
