What a way to start posting here again with the OC whose design has probably changed the most! This is my Kirby OC who I used a lot back when I was really active here, and she's changed quite a bit since then. For one, I changed her name to be more fitting and I changed her color scheme and her entire outfit. Well, here's her bio!

This is Ref’s personal sword. It is a golden short sword with a green gem in the hilt. She can channel her abilities through it, making them stronger than they are normally. Even when Ref has the sword sheathed it gives her magic a considerable boost.

Mirror Ability
Ref possesses the mirror ability, she can create magical mirrors that block and reflect attacks. She can teleport herself and others short distances through mirrors. She can create duplicates of herself for attacks or dances. She can also see through illusions and create illusions. She can also create a shield that surrounds herself and it reflects projectile attacks back. She can also create small mirrors in a fan like shape that can be used as a projectile attack, she can shatter these mirrors as an attack as well. She can also use one of her mirrors to create a weaker version of an enemy weapon. The mirror ability also lets her create bursts of light to temporarily blind an opponent. She can also use the ability in more mundane ways, like using it to light up a dark place

Mic Ability
Ref also possesses the mic ability, though it’s not as developed as her Mirror ability, in her case the mic ability is not that destructive. She can use this ability to give allies power boosts, and she can charm enemies with it. She is capable of attacking with the mic ability, but it not nearly as potent as when Kirby is using this ability. When she uses her mic ability to attack it is about as strong as Kirby’s second stage of it, but it wreaks her voice so she can’t use it very often.

Wings
Ref has cape wings, her’s happen to be bee wings. She can fly quickly but only in short bursts due to past injuries.

Strengths: Great at dodging attacks, can block and reflect attacks well, is agile, skilled in both magic and swordplay, fights carefully, can be surprisingly sneaky, her physical strength is surprisingly high for a magic user, fighting style largely uses defensive moves and trap setting with the mirrors,

Weakness: Can’t take much damage when actually hit, slow to trust others, doesn’t do well under pressure, her flight is severely limited, her fighting style is largely defensive, her duplicated weapons are far weaker than the original and break easily, holds back often even when she shouldn’t be, prone to holding grudges, refuses to use Mindmaster except as a last resort.

Though the smiles and teasing is largely an act or a slight exaggeration, underneath she can be a melancholic and paranoid person. She is often very critical of herself and she doesn’t handle failure well. She is also a very stubborn person and tends to bottle up her worries instead of telling someone how she is feeling. In the end, she is a gentle caring person but she just has a lot of issues.

Bio: Ref showed up in Cappy Town one day during her travels, she rather liked the small village and decided to stay there when she’s not traveling. She currently performs dances all over Pop Star and helps out when the monster of the weak is causing more havoc than they normally do.

Backstory: Ref’s full name is Reflet, and she’s actually from the Mirror World. In fact, she is the princess of the Mirror World, her sister, Mira, was the current queen. Due to the mirror ability being the rarest ability in the Mirror World and the being born with the birthmark of the first ruler (it happens to be in her eyes), Reflet would take over as queen when she came of age. Her parents were assassinated by Dark Mind’s followers before she hatched, so Mira was the one to name and raise her. She was also raised by two Light Minds named Captain and Pristine who became her retainers. Captain taught her swordplay and diplomacy, Pristine taught her basic life skills and dancing, while Mira taught her magic and politics. Reflet was often the target of assassination and kidnapping attempts. It was during a kidnapping attempt that she met a knight named Darcnaito who helped her fend off the kidnappers. Afterwards the two began to spend time together when Mira appointed Darcnaito as Reflet’s personal knight, and the two eventually fell in love. On Reflet’s “20th” birthday, which was also going to be the day she would begin taking over some of Mira’s duties, Darcnaito proposed to her. She accepted and life was generally nice for her. But Darcnaito was actually Dark Mind’s main enforcer and grew close to Ref so the kingdom would lower its defense. Soon the rest of Dark Mind’s forces invaded the castle and the royal family was captured. Ref and Mira managed to escape before they could be corrupted by Dark Mind, but Mira had to sacrifice herself in order for Ref escape. Ref and her retainers managed to get to the Dimensional Mirror and MindMaster, a sword capable of fending off Dark Mind’s forces once they re-grouped. Darcnaito lead an ambush that tried to recapture Ref, since they needed Ref’s powers in order to release Dark Mind from his prison. The two dueled and Reflet lost her temper and cut Darcnaito left eye out, while he ended up slashing her wings. When he did this it knocked her into the Dimensional Mirror and sent her to the Dream World. Captain ending up breaking the Dimensional Mirror on the Mirror World side, so Reflet could escape. Reflet was more or less exiled, and her wings were damaged beyond repair. She decided to travel the Dream World to grow stronger and unlock all of MindMaster’s abilities so when she returned to the Mirror World she could retake it. She then spends the next few years traveling and avoiding Dark Mind’s forces who went after her. She soon came to Pop Star and has stayed ever since.

-As a side effect of her essence ability, Ref can get hurt very easily. Her wings also give her a few insect traits, such as getting cold easily.

-Ref still has the proposal Star Darcnaito gave her, thought parts of it are slightly cracked from when she threw it out of anger.

-Darcnaito fell in love with her legitimately and is still in love with her. Ref on the other hand, now hates him and she now suffers from Philophobia (fear of falling in love) due to his betrayal.

-She’s right-handed in the Mirror World, but in the Dream World, she is a lefty.

-She’s a very light sleeper, she also has nightmares often. Her nightmares get really bad when it’s either close to her birthday or if any of Dark Mind’s forces are near.

-Ref tends to hum a lot, most of the time she’s doing it without even realizing it.

-She’s very self-conscious about her wings ever since they were damaged, she tends to have them in cape mode most of the time and will only use them in dire situations. The reason being not because they’re scared, but because while flying it causes her intense pain and Ref doesn’t want to show weakness when it comes to her wings. Though the scarring is a big part of it.

-She prefers tea to coffee but will drink coffee when she is feeling melancholic, since coffee was Mira’s favorite drink and it reminds her of happier times.

It’s basically her “Queen” or “Leader” voice. She also only cusses if the situation is really bad, otherwise, she watches her language.

-She is a total lightweight when it comes to alcohol, so she tries to avoid it at all costs.

-She is totally inept when it comes to technology, but she is very knowledgeable about all sorts of magic.

-Her hair was originally dark brown, but she bleached it when she escaped the Mirror world so now it’s practically white. Her hair was also cut, courtesy of Darcnaito, it used to be longer and kept in a ponytail.

-Mira was the one to give Ref the nickname of Ref, Mira was also the only person in the Mirror World to refer to her using that nickname.
