A ditzy smile's my disguise,My heart's full of burning lies.
But, in one way I'm always true,
I was honest saying I loved you.
Now we are a tear stained mess,
Red puddles of lost happiness.
But, for something I would never do?
I would never let myself hurt you!
When I utter words 'I'm fine',
The lie's not yours, it's only mine.
Broken hearted, but I say true...
I miss hearing 'I love you'.
Now I prepare for words of goodbye,
Letting my tear drops slowly die.
I wonder when I'll find the end,
From which I know, I'll never mend.
I'm going to stand up tall as steel,
Make sure that you see nothing real!
I'll do what I can and I'll always pretend,
That I'm okay with "we'll just be friends..."
