quick question, do you know why he isn't called Robotnik anymore?

with the new games (the fact of having real international stories, in old games each country have its own game manual and plot) D.Robotnik became his real name and Eggman is nick name
in the games they call him allways Eggman but in Sonic Adventure 1 we heard some last 'Robotnik' in the beginning of the game
but we still see Robotnik in characters files
and Eggman's grandfather is Gerald ROBOTNIK (seen in Sonic Advenure2, Sonic Battle and Shadow)
they call him by his nickname now and forever!
but Robotnik will never disappear!
