My last design was an early take at Azrael as Batman, while this design, as it stands at the moment, has only a few tweaks still to be made until I feel it will be done.

I went back and decided to attach the design more completely to the true Batman. In the comics Azrael starts out very much like Batman, but eventually subverts him into his own view of who Batman should be to save Gotham. I still feel a few design elements in the original could serve to be reincorporated back into this design, however, such as the way the armor details on the shoulders and chest.

A much quicker and less methodical drawing than the last one, I admit, but this was more a study of the design and later the colors that would make up its appearance and feel. Still feeling it out, but VERY close to the end of the process.
