Description
THIS IS A CONTEST, SO IF YOU COMMENT ON THIS PIC PLEASE VOTE BY INDICATING WHICH SOLDIER YOU FEEL WOULD EMERGE VICTORIOUS IN A HEAD-TO-HEAD SHOWDOWN ON THE BATTLEFIELD!!!!An elite trooper, trained and equipped for battlefield supremecy. Which, in this case is a jungle setting, where he is fighting 's hard shell soldier, [link]
He's equipped with a very special and versatile weapon, the AR-21. First off, this rifle can be fitted out with almost any extras possibly needed. Additionally, it is one of the few ARs with the ability to feed from either a box clip or a belt of ammunition, not unlike the M249 SAW LMG. Due to the shortness of the barrel on this model (it was designed to work well in any environment, including urban) it is chambered in 6.5mm Grendal, which was designed as a longer range, harder hitting replacement for the 5.56mm, at minimal cost in size and weight. It features a longer, heavier bullet that can travel much farther down range before losing velocity than the 5.56. The practical killing range of this weapon is nearly 1000 yards (with scope attachment.) In addition, the weapon was designed to be weight saving. The underslung grenade launcher can be easily detached and replaced with a lighter, tractioned grip quickly and without any tools. The stock is telescoping. Other possible features of the weapon include a foldable bipod attachment (lug is visable,) mounted scope, flash suppressor, muzzle brake and laser sight. The current configuration of the weapon is heavy support, though light support, super-compact and sniper variants can be easily created on the fly.
This commando also carries 4x 40mm grenade rounds, as well as additional ammunition in both 30 round clip and 100 round belt form. He is equipped with a complete level IV ceramic body armor vest, as well as a helmet equipped with the same material. On his back he packs the additional components of his weapon, a small sized compressed air scuba tank, a bottle of fake blood, and a gas mask.
He also clearly carries a pair of IR Nightvision goggles on his helmet.

no problem. Sorry if i came out sounding a little harsh, its just most people that look at these dont read the descriptions, leaving me and my buddy here without votes for our little battles. If you vote it'd be greatly appreciated though /\ /\

Hmm, Commando versus Hard Shell Blader. It's a tough choice between super stealth, and firepower. Since the Hard Shell Blader has active Camo, it would be tough, but then again, you both have Infrared vision. That kind of negates both solder's abilities to utilize any stealth options available to them unless they can hide their body heat. Hard Shell's slew of capabilities in their helmet allows them to see Commando, and probably where they will be attacking, expecially in the jungle. Commando's Infrared will be a great help in the jungle, unless Hard Shell finds a cliff/boulder/honkin-big-tree to hide behind. In that case, Commando would be fine because he can just blow away the possible obstacles, and most likely, Hard Shell Blader along with them.
In the end, since Hard Shell would have the advantage since I imagine Commando isn't wearing his Infrared Vision every hour and second of the day, I would have to give my vote to Hard Shell Blader. Even if Commando's trying to snipe Hard Shell, I doubt the scope is Infrared capable. If Hard Shell Blader's going to kill you, you're already dead.
It was a tough choice, and both would make friggin' awesome soldiers, working together or alone, but against each other, my decision stands.
