Character Information
Name:
Age:
Weight: Heavy
Class: 24th Elites Support

Armor: Level IV ceramic armor covering arms, chest, and head.

Equipment: IR/Motion Tracker/Gun System Regulator (GSR) in helmet display; Laser rangefinder and GSR CPU in gunmounted compartment.

Weapons: Easily the largest and most complex gun in the 24th's small arms arsenal, the Havoc 6.5mm 4 barreled rotory cannon is designed to not just kill enemies, but tear them to pieces. Early mini and microguns had the problem of generating too much recoil to be effectively used by footsoldiers. The problem has been corrected to the greatest extent possible here, with a special GRS system which uses motion tracking and range information, as well as rideup sensors, to keep the weapon on target and minimize felt recoil. In order to keep recoil in the manageable range, the weapon caps off at a modest 1600 rpm. Typically this weapon employs DU (Depleted Uranium) rounds to increase its effectiveness against armored targets, as well as a 1-6 ratio of tracer rounds. The weapon draws ammo via electric belt feed from a backpack, which carries around 600 rounds. Additionally, the standard .50 cal Desert Eagle Gen2 is carried as a sidearm for close range defense.

Training: For good reason, the heavy support soldiers of the 24th are drawn from the largest, strongest and most aggressive trainees. Due to their heavy armor, these soldiers are expected to be at the forefront of assualts where they can do maximum damage, and are typically among the first line in defensive actions. Their main job is demoralize enemy soldiers and trash light vehicles, though their sheer killing power cannot be ignored. Just like most heavy gunners, they are among the first troops targeted by the enemy in firefights, and this is the reason for their extensive armor. Despite their fearless aggessiveness, these troops are trained to take advantage of cover and concealed positions whenever possible.
