Description
Nierruwh is standing on the bridge of his Narada, looking at the sight before him: the Enterprise stands proudly on the viewscreen, and he knows it's finished. He has lost everything, his home, his family, and now he will lose whetever is still left for and of him. As the Narada breaks up in the wormhole, Acting Captain Kirk can relax for a moment. The battle is over... but it's still a long way home.Ladies and Gentlemen, this concludes my series of re-envisioning JJ Abrams' Trek. Now imagine the awesomeness of the Scimitar/Narada's wings being ripped apart by the forces of the wormhole. The rest is the same, with Lieutenant Kirk being given a field promotion to Captain at the end and the Enterprise flies off into the unknown. For the voyages must continue...

Kirk: Lock Phasers, fire everything we have.
Sulu: Yes sir.

Good Idea to use the Scimita. Every time I looked at the Narada I asked myself: "Wy would they built a schip like that?"

I hate dark images like this; they give me the screamin' willies (but GREAT artwork!)

Very nice job! Has a Star Trek Phase II look to it with the Enterprise design.
(I ain't gonna rip on JJ. Far as I'm concerned, he saved Star Trek....), but this is an excellent representation of that climactic scene!

And not a lens flare in sight. Excellent image and a very good 're-think' of the scene!

Sweet pic Dave. Kirk and Spock gets some revenge watching Nero in his final defeat.

Epic, really nice lighting that helps add that moody "S*#ts gonna happen" vibe

Your vision of JJ Abrams' "Star Trek" is pretty incredible, my man.

Good image Putting the Romulan vessel in the background and blurring it was a clever move.
Any ending without Kirk yelping like a schoolboy "Fire Everything!!!" at a ship that's FALLING INTO A BLACK HOLE is an improvement.
I don't understand film-goers today: they don't need continuity, they don't even need internal consistency. Plots are pretty much as incoherent as a Phil Collins single.

How the narada could emerge again if the black hole form in its middle

I think that Fire everything moment was more of a mercy kill than needless showing-off of power. Kirk was man enough to order his people to finish the suffering of the Romulans, instead of letting them being ripped apart by the wormhole.

Actually the "fire everything" was to make sure the Narada didn't emerge anywhere else and cause more damage.

I actually liked Abrams Star Trek, but I must confess, this would have made for a significantly better movie. An excellent series all around and a most brilliant finale!

Outstanding, I like how you were able to capture the "Lightning storm in space" look of the wormhole.
