one year later.

i looked at my paintings i had done over 2012 and i noticed i did not push out a lot, but i felt as though what i had done was better than in 2011 and i learned more from myself and other artists. i also had picked up Borderlands 1 just a couple of days before starting this project which helped a lot inspire me. I kept the lines and added texture which i normally don't like to do, even in full illustrations since it becomes a cheesy hot mess. here, it was just enough and i think listening to Fallout 3 soundtrack really worked.

i did all of this work in Photoshop to challenge myself with only using Corel to blend the body of Linsey Dawn Mckenzie. It might not look like her, but it was worth a year long shot. some of the brushes i used are from Draaken with some other texture taken from the vast and infinite web and i tried to mix and match. i think waiting for a year to work on this, especially during Breast Cancer Awareness month, was a good idea.

though there was a debate for a friend and i about the afternoon warm lighting going on. it was either mid-day toxic brown versus over saturated afternoon. i mixed the two.

(oh yeah. about the condom machine. the machine was too small to dispense soda or guns, so a condom machine will do. safe sex everyone!)
