Thanks for the critique! Sorry it's taken me a while to respond.
I know exactly what you mean about character - it's hard to get into it when writing in this style. I guess that's just a downside of writing in short, choppy diary entries.
All of the corrections you noted are right, they must have been typos that I missed. Thanks for that! Including the comment about the wife, I didn't even think about the fact that after a divorce there isn't technically a wife anymore haha
It was never meant to be a serious piece, so I'm glad that you found it funny. It was fun trying to play with the conventions of prose, and see how far I could take it. IE, the running out pen. It's something that could never be read. Well, it could, but it would sound very very odd!

Really loved this. I think this wound up being a really effective way of approaching this content, and the pen running out was a great touch, too.

I didn't plan any of it when I started writing. In fact, I was in a rush to go meet someone. Glad you liked it ^^

Here's more attention for ya' -- this put a smile on my face, and believe me, that's hard to do these days.
I could sound as mournful as the worst music you never want to hear again, but this piece is irresistible.
Outcome: Delusion well-expressed by *TheFS Thank you.

I know I didn't comment when I read this, but that's because I was suggesting it for a DD, and I hate to show my over eagerness for something.
But this was frickin' awesome. If you do not laugh when reading this, there is something completely wrong with you. I loved it.

Haha thanks, I'm glad you found it funny! It's weird actually, I wrote this late one evening with a vague idea of what I wanted to do… I didn't even know the ending until I got there. It just proves that the best things are accidental Thanks again for suggesting it ^^

Oh, my...this was very, very entertaining. XD Very funny; quite the story.
You have a few typos, but maybe they were intentional...?
At any rate, congrats on the DD! It was well-deserved.

I always say that real art tells a story, and that's just what this did. You could probably publish this as a short story right now!
Update: Finished reading again. Funnier the second time.

It tells a story that spans a good few years haha
I'm glad you think it's publishable now, it makes me feel so happy ^^
I wonder what else could be writing in this style? Hmmm..

I felt disappointed when I thought everything had just worked out perfectly for him, as that would have been a really lame end to the story, the actual end was MUCH better and I didn't see that coming. Good stuff.

I didn't see it coming either, it just sort of - happened. But I totally agree, if he just lived 'happily ever after' that would have been kinda lame. CDF is a much better way to live

When I was writing it I could decide if it was actually prose, because it's so different. I think my favourite thing about this piece is that you could never guess what's going to happen next haha

Haha, I really enjoyed reading this. I think you hit the mark with the multiple threads being tracked and the updates. It gave the reader a sense of the character's world and his perception of it. I really didn't see the end coming, but it was awesome.
Thank you for making my Sunday morning with this lovely read.
