I'd say it's the final battle buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut Ridley comes back from the grave almost as much as slasher movie monsters.Edit: so 5 revisions in an hour later, i'm maybe, kinda done now, maybe.

Ah, yes. Ridley is so much of a stubborn bastard, he won't even let death get in his way to kill Samus. Who knows, maybe he did survive the massive planetary explosion back in Zebes. He might've found a way to come back.

Very nice...But I think it's safe to say Original!Ridley is good and dead. I don't know if you've played Other M, but...Just going from Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion alone, Ridley was blasted into the ground and left on a planet that then exploded into many little pieces...And the X-mimick of Ridley was also blasted into submission -and then absorbed by Samus herself-.
So, in other words, she's vaporized him and devoured his vaporized mist!
Samus wins? (Still, really nice scene there!)
