My first "official" photo shooting for a death metal band in Hungary, called Eradication. Some HDR effect added.Hope you like it!

Amazing composition. Really good discipline of frame. As a fan of the slasher genre I can easily see this as a poster for the next Alexandre Aja movie. I was surprised to see this on devART. Not because of the subject matter thought. It's the subjective censorship that confuses me. Would this even be allowed on devART if the woman was visibly urinating?

This is very macabre, a sick theme that might strike a few sensitive issues. The piece is offensive in display, pulling no punches and showing the full event, the twisted joy of the killer, bloodstains of previous injuries and the final act about to occur. While I like the piece itself, the theme is is a bit heavy for me, the idea of people taking pleasure in murder is utterly alien to me, I feel sorry for those like amandas-sketches who have lost people to acts such as the one depicted.
Before I sound like a hypocrite, I like your work, it is well made and interesting, I just don't like the theme. Regardless of my issue, well done, hope you continue.

that's pretty unnecessary in this age. Why is the hippie long hair slicing up the dead girl with a mask on?
think it good i do not like Death Metal music. If this is what the crowd wants, the world is turning into even more a violent sick scene than i had ever feared when Cobain stuck that double-barreled-shotgun to his head and blew it off, or was it Courtney?
It's not that i find it disturbing, and not indeed something i enjoy, it's just violent and silly at the same time. Real death that i have seen is so scary and sad and real. it's disturbing all the fake blood in photography.
But
The photo is well done I can say that.

No matter what, human nature will always have a fascination with mortality. Whether it be by the hands of violence or natural causes. We're always seeking to understand it whether it is on a scientific, emotional or even a spiritual level.
The observation of violence is unpleasant to witness, whether or not it is real... but it is against current morals and without a doubt, unfair to other humans to discover and understand mortality in real life. So we express it with art forms that allow us to explore violence, mortality and even mental depravity. It feeds human curiosity and even becomes entertainment as it fascinates us to explore in the ways that humanity and the human body can be dismantled.

And I suspect as i try to successfully avoid these repetitive violent often immature images and honestly see too much reality on the home front, I would rather see a black and white realistic ink drawing than a full color faked photo of murder and blood and violence.
But then again i rarely think about this genre of photography.
Whether the head in the sand scenario or just lucky to avoid. Plenty of this here on DA is seems. The spirit can overcome all kinds of assaults on the senses.

I think its okay to post such things. This kind of submissions are mostly up for discussions and i'm actually on your side on this one, theres too much violence already in the world, why then also use it in art?
Though i gues at the same time, it's the forbidding in our society of glorification of violence that implements the thought in us that it is inappropriate, which makes the ones going entirely against it actually do this kind of things for the world.

Suspect so, though i often write and then delete.
I do not even think about art when i see violence these days.
My studio is in Oakland, California. A place way too common
for unnecessary violence.
A great city, but often a place in the news a bit too often for all the
wrong reasons.
I hate seeing violence against animals and humans, even if it is fake.
But it exists and many love it, something i certainly have no control over.
As i get older i have become far more a pacifist, as all i do see that continues in the world of violence, hatred, racism and wars are quite distressing.
I like to think of art as a sanctuary, maybe it is sometimes.
