Maybe not entirely accurate, but based on the image I had of Caroline from Vampire Hunter D. Her appearance and abilities are very different in the novel Demon Deathchase, which Bloodlust is based on. I prefer the novel to the film, but that's just my taste. :3 The film is quite a bit more dramatic and a little less disturbing.

In the novel, Caroline can drink the "blood" of many things, even machines. The being or object she drinks from becomes her slave. I have shown her with a giant robot hand. It and the attached arm go after D like a giant sandworm. The timing is unfortunate as his resistance to the burning sun suddenly lowers. This is similar to the scene in the movie, and similar scenes follow. The rest is quite different.
