This started out as something quite different, an expression of inner turmoil...while listening to a certain early VNV Nation song. But the picture took over and changed the topic completely. It happens.

For much of my life, I've loved the illustrations of some artists from the early 19th century--Arthur Rackham especially. I've had an on and off love of the Pre-Raphaelites for nearly as long. I suppose these things will always tint the tone of my ideas. Funny, though, as I am not the most romantic sort.
