Description And if in this
Our only love spawns hate
And hate is all we know
The seeds and stems of love and life
Will never have the chance to grow

But maybe there is one
A scribbler or a dreamer
Who's tired of hate's cruel gun
It rips and drills and tears
Leaving only it's wicked wake of despair

Maybe she can change them
They'll have the power to move
To love
To forget
To forgive

But what if the strengthening tide
Catches her around the ankles
Will she have the power
To resist the lies
The hate
The deceit
The destruction

Will she stay strong
As they rip her heart away
Leaving their hate and lies
Legacies of their own defeat

A legacy not worth inheriting
Given without knowledge
They love only to hate
Never to grow

Their hate, their normality of it all
It rips and bleeds
With it's own thoughts
A raging beast
Creating their own downfall

Who will save them
Change them
Fill them with a life unknown
But they kill without cause
Never will they pause
To think of one another
They secretly long

Living, longing, wanting, waiting
For someone to show them
How to break the tide
To free themselves from their own lies

Secrets, rumors
Ravaging themselves
Looking for the light
To lead them from their lies

Dying from within
Waiting
Watching
Longing
Longing for change
But clinging to the past

Their comfortable cocoon
Enveloping them with warmth
A past they hate to love
They believe their newborn lies
Like a kitten they cling to the warmth
Of the cold lies they hide in

They cower as their newborn kitten purrs
Their contempt of lying
But as they continue
Their small kitten lies grow
Monstrous hateful beasts of lies take it's place

But they can't stop
Their lies comfort them
A safety blanket
And the scribbler can't pull them out

She tries
Struggles to pull them from the tide
She can't move
They're pulling her in
Now she's the one who needs a hand
A friend
A love
To pull her from her titanic lies.
