General, it has come to our attention that the recent crash landing of the alien vessel last December released an extremely dangerous creature. A short briefing on this creature, codenamed "Diamondback," is enclosed, as well as a suggested course of action. Diamondback is a reptilian beast that stands over 7 feet tall and has a tail that is nearly thirty feet long, with impressive regenerative properties and inhuman strength, speed and agility. This creature is capable of somehow increasing its size and mass, gaining muscle and becoming vastly more powerful.

Some of the unique biological weapons that this creature possesses are sickle-shaped claws on its middle toes for slashing and ripping at victims, as well as poisonous barbs all over its back. It has a deadly neurotoxin in its bite, and can transfix its prey with a Medusa's stare that paralyzes its victims. Its arms have specialized scales that are similar to a rattlesnakes tail, enabling it to warn off potential threats to itself with a sharp rattle. The creature has a keen sense of smell, and can sense thermal emissions when hunting.

Overall, Diamondback should be considered a grave threat to not only local civilian populations, but a concern for national security as well in that its very existence undermines public confidence in the ability of our military to keep this planet secure. It is highly recommended that the National Guard takes whatever measures necessary to capture or destroy the Diamondback creature. Should it evade capture, the immediate evacuation of the surrounding civilian centers (specifically the town of Dover, as well as nearby neighborhoods) and aerial strikes should be made. The capture or termination of this creature is Priority 1. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
