Description
My whole family has big feet, even my mother whose mother has tiny feet. My mom wears size nine and a half, and her second toe is bigger than her first toe. She is the only one. My dad's feet are very big. He wears a ten and a half men's. He buys most of his shoes from Cost Co. They all look similar, but not the same, because some are blue and some are grey. I like blue shoes better. My brother will pass my dad up someday soon, he wears a ten now. Me and my brother can sometimes wear the same shoes, but sometimes not. His feet smell bad. Like the boys locker room. His feet smell like twelve year old boys who wrestle each other when they are in big groups half-naked, and then make jokes about it. My brother has dainty boy feet. They are white and thin. My feet are tan and wide like a hero and you can't see any veins and only one bone, not like on my mom and brother. You can't see my dad's veins either.

In the summer dad and I walk barefoot in the backyard, even though our feet get stained with mud after the sprinklers have been on. My brother isn't supposed to walk barefoot because his feet have bad skin, like a lizard, but not green. My dad's feet are like a garden. A garden in summer, that is mostly green, instead of pink or purple or orange like in spring when the flowers are blooming. We only plant the flowers I like in the summer, white and blue. The garden doesn't smell like flowers in the summer. It smells like white and blue and green, like warm dirt and my neighbor's wisteria which explodes like fireworks. Summer smells like hairy feet, like my dad and me.
