Is this what photographers mean by "making water smokey"?
I comitted the f-stop and shutter speed to memory (unfortunately the camera I have allows only ISO100 minimum) in case I stumbled across the right place with a camera in hand... but, did you use any filters, perhaps?

Nope, no filters. Just a slow shutter speed. And, I'm guessing that's what that means.

now that' just very pretty, almost close to being a fantasy seen again, i love the micture of fiery colours in the sky and the coder feeling up front kinda suggest something warm and comfy is on it's way!

Yep! It's really the only way to properly catch something like this unless you use film...and a split neutral density filter.

Well this image has some tricky zones that you did really well. We can thank mother nature for the sunset but you did an excellent job bringing it to us in a way that's similar to how our eyes would have seen it. I think at times that's the ultimate high with landscape photography. You can stumble across something beautiful and show everyone later. Thanks.
