Project Latios:

Project Latios - Its in the name. This will be an entirely open-source project dedicated to building a life-size functioning (And by functioning I mean Flying, Actuating Joints etc...) replica of the Pokemon "Latios".

Cool. Why here though?
I will be uploading all the project materials (Designs, Schematics, Construction Images) to this folder, so you can consider this the front page.

Where do I come into this?
You don't have to if you don't want. You can provide encouragement or support if you want. If you think you've got an idea to improve functionality or mechanics, post it as a comment on the relevant image, or upload one with a correction and submit it. In the end we will have a fully open-source project that means anyone who wants to can build their own.

Are you going to build one?
Sure am! I'm currently sitting an engineering aerospace apprenticeship, which means that I won't have much spare time. But what time I do have, I'll be uploading materials here for you guys to check out. If you lot like the look of it, I'll buy the materials (No problemo, The apprenticeship is paid ) and construct the part.

Final Word
I'm not saying that building it will be fast. What I am saying is: If we pull this off, we have something we can boast about. How many other people can say in all confidence they helped construct a working pokemon?
