For my 400th deviation, I decided to show you guys my collection of O Gauge trains. Some of them are on my layout right now, so you're not going to see them here.1st Row - CNJ 0-4-0, K-Line Love New England Boxcar, PRR 0-8-0

that's a lot of trains, i only have one train, and it's a Christmas train, but we used the front of another train from a different set because the other one broke XD

It's basically brown with yellow lettering saying, "Be Specific, Ship UNION PACIFIC."

Yes, that's it. My grandfather got the set for me off of eBay back in 2008.

Sweet...i've been wanting that UP Boxcar because its my favorite RR Motto of all time but what troubled me is that when I see pics of the car, its either in the set or by itself w/out a box. When I buy Lionels (except for a few postwars in the near future), I look for the CAR AND THE BOX.

So my option is to buy the car and a random box (but correct the side to say 6-whatever OR buy the 9700 UP Boxcar thats yellow...but its hard choosing which because IDK the SKU of the set the boxcar is from and I honestly don't like the color on the 9700 one, despite it saying the exact same thing.

What I MIGHT do is buy the brown UP Boxcar and the box only for the ugly one and just edit the SKU, but nobody is selling the box by itself...

From what I've seen on eBay, the owners may put their rolling stock and engines in boxes that are usually the ones that they use to ship.

That I know, but what I need (or want, really) is the boxcar and like the actual BOX a normal car would came in.

When I get some more $$$ though, im gonna look for a used 6464 Boxcar (cheap, preferrably) and a reproduction box. Which should I look for?

That was made back in 2009 when MTH and Lionel formed the Lionel Corporation that allows MTH to put the Lionel logo on their tinplate items.
