The First Story of N.P.R.R. Stories is finally out!

It's been 2 years since Christmas Town was struck by Stormella's greatest snow storm. 2 years since Rudolph's first ever, Christmas-saving flight, and ever since, he has become a staff of legends, and is loved by the locals.

One day, Rudolph and his Doefriend Zoey were having a stroll in the woods near Christmas Town, retelling old times.

Zoey: "Remember the time when you were practicing your acceptance speech and I was standing behind you the whole time?"
Rudolph: "Yep. You really caught me off guard there, Zoe."
Zoey: "We were yearlings back then! Can you believe we are where we're at now?"
Rudolph: "I can't believe it either! A bit surprising about what life can bring you!"

The two deer laughed and continued on with their walk. Soon, they were approaching what looked like the treeline.

Rudolph: "We must be approaching the trail that leads back to town."

But then as they exited, they stumbled upon what wasn't a trail: But a railroad track! Christmas Town did have a railroad, but it didn't reach out this far out of town!

Zoey: "Since when did Santa upgrade his railroad?"
Rudolph: "I don't remember him telling me! Nor, that he has enough materials!"
Zoey: "Or elf power!"

Then Zoey and Rudolph both heard what sounded like a train. They both looked in the direction where it was coming from. They eventually got a view of the engine. It was some type of tank engine, with what looked like a caboose. It passed them and chuffed into the distance.

Rudolph: "Who was that?"
Zoey: "I have no idea!"
Rudolph: "We should talk to Santa about that engine."

And the duo agreed, walking back to town.
